I drive for JB Hunt intermodal out of Harrisburg PA I’m home daily make from $1,400-$1,800 around 48 hrs a week. Could make more but I have a family.

Plumbers, electrician, welders, etc. have certification and licenses. And wow they make money by the hours they work.

when waiting to get loaded one to two hours is free and we start our detention. On top of that having break downs on the road or correcting weight on trailer is usually 1 hour it cumulates in a year

Another down time is city driving stuck in traffic one hour drive through cities with traffic is extra hour or two. Definitely we don't get payed for that.
