Oats with milk and no sugar with 2 or more boiled eggs, doesn't spike blood sugar. Always make your meals balanced and portions control. Less carb and more of others (protein, vegetable, fat, water etc). You should know your brain needs carbs to function properly.

I’m type 2 diabetic. I use organic oats. Cook with cows milk. Once cooked. I add flax seed. Sugar free protein powder. Peanut butter and pumpkin seeds and toasted almond flakes. Doesn’t spike my blood sugar levels. I check after 2 hours. Always under 6%.

Carbs in general when eaten without fibre will spike your blood sugar. Oats are carbs. Add a good source of fibre to it(berries, flax seeds, chia seeds, etc), and you'll be fine. This just goes back to eating well, not "oats are bad"

, oats can be a beneficial food for people with diabetes, particularly type 2. They have a low glycemic index, meaning they don't cause rapid spikes in blood sugar levels, and they are rich in fiber, which helps regulate blood glucose. Moreover, the soluble fiber in oats, especially beta-glucan, may help improve insulin sensitivity and overall glycemic control.
