Brain off books should be romcom where you laugh bcs it is absurd not bcs it is written so bad. I love rom com where the female is funny but their is still a little bit of plot and actually fun to read.

there are also SO MANY simple/non-complex/easy books out there that are still good too. they're like the book equivalent of going for a walk instead of mountain climbing, but it's all still exercise.

Honestly, I prefer to just say that I found it entertaining. Books are like food to me. Some I eat because I'm hungry, and some I eat because it's my favorite. I wouldn't eat bad food.
