As a nontalker, maybe you are their safe place where they can relax and not worry about what they have to say. They are comfortable just being in your presence.

I'm usually more quiet because what I say feels like it dosent really matter in the convo anyway, especially when people ask, you really and ask back and they just starts talking without any "that sounds nice" or acknowledge what u said

Maybe they've shown themselves not to be a safe person to talk to or especially someone to show emotion to or be vulnerable around. Fine and ok are all that's going to be said to them.

She isn't saying as a couple you two need to talk a lot but if all you want to do is sit in silence with your partner and NEVER speak, answer or anything then no, you're not a non-talker, you're just clearly not into your partner. If they have to fight to get a response do you even like them?
