There’s also a full makeup tutorial coming for her look too so we can glam up our mamas together 🤍💫 As I’ve mentioned before, it’s taken a lot of recent communication and understanding for my mom and I to build a stronger connection. Growing up we never really heard “I love you,” as culturally they had always learned to show love through acts of service, and not words of affirmation. With a lot of long talks, and even more misunderstandings, we’ve started to build something pretty amazing. She’s taken our conversations and makes an effort to tell me and show me how much she loves me and is proud of me, and I’ve learned to understand her love languages much better too 🤍🤍 p.s I got really emotional while I was editing this video… I’m not sure if it’s how radiant my mom looks when she laughs, or if it’s because I wish I’d see her shine her light more.
