i got a bag on amazon with straps that can either be worn as a backpack OR as a messenger style bag, front and side pockets outside and one zipper inside!! and the whole thing can zip closed if you need. plus it’s courduroy so it’s very queer feeling

Motorcycle brands have cross bodies and waist bags that are designed to hold tools so they have good compartments and stuff and it’s kinda fun and sporty and to be wearing Alpinestars, for example. I just got the Alpinestars Tech Tool Pack and it’s sick and could be used everyday. Ogio is another one, maybe Fox too

I feel like lots of 90s coach bags give cool messager bag, you can get them pretty cheap on eBay if you spend the time to clean the leather, I’ll look up the specific style I’m thinking of

got backpack from topo designs awhile back & love that the inside is bright yellow so I can actually see where stuff is. also good exterior color combos. black lining is an abyss. going on well over 5 years with it

I have the Amazon version of the Uniqlo crescent bag and it’s like soft / relaxed silent nylon. Not like gorpcore, stiff, scratchy noisy nylon. Depending on how I style it it can easily give like unisex fanny pack vibes or like cute little purse energy. Also there’s still a good amount of space in the bag after putting in my EpiPen and inhaler. It has like two little pockets inside but they are not zipper pockets.

Good cross body bag for work/school is pretty much any timbuk2 bag. I’ve had mine for two or three years now and it hasn’t showed any signs of breaking (I tend to break backpacks within a year)
