I’m Asian. I have two kids by black men. Neither of them stayed. I do not collect child support in either of them and 100% take care of my kids in my own and they turned out great so far. I temporarily allowed my oldest to stay with her dad for a while and she started failing school because she wasn’t even attending school under his care.

Divorce rates have been going up since the 60s for all cultures. Divorce is harder on a black woman with kids because she doesn’t get the generational wealth help others get from family.

This argument is a bit flawed. The athletes do take care of their children whether through marriage or court. The black community does not praise single parent hood but also have a strong female influence that believes in the female power to raise children solo. I think that mindset is the biggest cause of single parenthood.

I totally disagree. In africa the "family" still have value. Even if one cheat or abuse, the Partner will stay. Young kids (girls) will be forced by their parents to stay together if they get pregnant from their boyfriend. And the artists of Black music are the same like white Musik artists when it comes to family, faithfullness and stay together with their partners.
