Also in the US once baby is out everyone leaves the room. And then it’s just you and your baby it’s lonely and I feel like this sets up exactly how everything goes after you give birth

In the states, 16 weeks paid maternity leave is considered a luxury but it WHO’s minimum recommendation. I was able to BF my kids to 18 mths but only bc I WFH.
