My opinion, I think their relationship started off as a business relationship. Around the same time they got together he was seen with a lot of white women. I think people was saying, oh he don’t like black women? That was messing up his image with black women so I feel like his team was like you need to win the hearts of black women. There was no fumble. He seems to need a lot less of the "see and be seen" crowd energy than she does. MBJ likes ironing and anime, according to his interviews.
