You have to network can't just go to school and not go to career fairs and talk with your advisor and expect to get a job have to do more outside of the class room going to a carrer fair in September to find a job graduate from NC A&T SU in December liberal Studies major.

Sir. I went to school full time while working 2 part time jobs, and an internship. Meanwhile, conducting around 1-3 field projects per semester. I also was a part of 2 frats, 1 honor society, and 2 student led organizations. & I still managed to graduate with a 3.7 GPA. I am still UNEMPLOYED. This is not about laziness or in-aptness of Gen Z. This is about the job market. You are blessed to have a job but don’t shit on those who are struggling.

I went to school for excerise science graduated spring 24’ , had ended up being a elementary TA for 6 months to now being a PE teacher bc I was gettin in good with the school administration and got networked in at another school to teach PE. You right bro gotta network and put your self out there

Tbh the boomers won’t retire it’s not their fault the cost of living is high😭 i luckily got a beginner job part time in my field thank god but college really doesn’t prepare you for jobs i really think it was my work experience tutoring throughout college

nah it’s competitive af, at least in my field you have to be a genius with a ton of experience just to get an entry level job, 5+ rounds of intense technical interviews

People just gotta stay dedicated to finding a good fit. Took me 3 months post grad but was super exciting when I got an offer for a good fit position. Finally started a few weeks back and loving it. Patience is key… keep applying and calling employers

Top elite 3 undergrad. Original work published in books out of Yale and U of C. Worked 4 jobs in college - 1 was Fortune 50 finance, another had manual skills. Insane connections w profs. I can’t get ANY full time job in my major city

Nah it shouldn’t be handed out but it’s unfair to group everyone in this bunch, some people who are the most qualified and great can’t even get an interview. Market is super saturated and even entry level roles are difficult to get and you gotta compete against people with sometimes 15+ years of experience in that area
