Yea but did you know that... William Afton was a genius inventor and co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment. But behind the scenes, he was a serial killer. He used his animatronics to lure and murder children, hiding their bodies inside the suits. These children would later become the haunted spirits inside Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. His first victim was Charlotte Emily, the daughter of his business partner, Henry. She was killed outside Fredbear’s Family Diner by Afton in a Spring Bonnie suit. William had three kids: Michael, Elizabeth, and the Crying Child (whose real name is unknown). The Crying Child was the youngest. He was terrified of the animatronics. On his birthday, Michael and his friends played a cruel prank, putting him near Fredbear’s mouth. Fredbear bit down—accidentally killing him. This became known as The Bite of ‘83. Elizabeth was obsessed with Circus Baby, one of William’s new animatronics. But Baby was designed to kill. Despite her father warning her to stay away, she approached Baby and was taken—killed by her own father's creation. Her soul possessed Circus Baby. Michael Afton, the oldest son, felt guilt and tried to fix everything. His father sent him to Circus Baby’s Entertainment and Rentals, where he was eventually “scooped” by a machine. The animatronics (now fused into Ennard) used his body to escape. But Michael didn’t die—his body kept going, rotting, kept alive by the remnant (a mysterious soul-energy). Meanwhile, William kept killing. But one day, the spirits of the dead children chased him into the back room. He hid in a Spring Bonnie suit—but the springlocks failed, crushing his body. He became Springtrap, a rotten corpse trapped inside the suit. Years later, Michael burned down the attractions to end it all—but William came back again and again. Eventually, he returned in the form of Glitchtrap, a digital virus version of his soul hiding in a VR game. In the end, it’s a story about a broken family: -A killer father. -A daughter who became a machine. -A son who tried to undo the damage. -And children who just wanted justice
