Only on the bike or foot, as soon as you get the ornithopter the game dies. The fun and thrill of crossing dangerous gaps gone. the long traversal to get rare resources gone. The game becomes stupidly easy once you can just fly everywhere.

I tried Dune this weekend. And it is th most mediocre survival game I have Ever play. 0 Dune wibes. Kids friendly grafics and Portland made combat system. Hope they adress it.

I was least curious how they could possible have made giant sand worms so cinematically boring in the movie, but looks like the game does the same thing. The landscape is lifeless and boring beyond description by design, but literally the exciting exciting thing they have in their arsenal and it’s meh?

Thought it was good until found out that EVERY bandit camp looks the same AND someone can come clear out an entire region of enemies and they don’t respawn so I have no one to fight and barley any loot.

some tips for those just awakening: dune jumps are not your friend. With the sand bike avoid flying off of dunes, the hanging slows you down vs tracks on the sand. markers. use them! Create a pathway for long stretches of open sand to help avoid drum sand or other hazards
