their story is so sad. They were partners for skating and won olympic gold metals together. they got married at 20 ish and had a kid together. a year or so later he died from a heart attack. Katia wrote a book about their story

For those who dont know, this is katia and sergei. They started skating since childhood and became world-class skaters and two times Olympic champions. They literally won first place in every competition they entered. Eventually, they fell in love got married and had a daughter. Sadly sergei passed away in front of katia shile practicing. If they were skating nowadays, i bet they sould break the Internet, they were sooooo popular and unstable.
