it seems very clear in the newest episode of TLOU that the seraphites are religious extremist sub human ritualistic torturers, but the WLF just does enhanced interrogation sometimes, while being fully humanized. it's gross.

MINOR SPOILERS S2; I also appreciate that when the show kills off it's characters Andor never glorifies dying for the rebellion. it's good and it's necessary but it's also never lionised. it's not natural, and it's tragic that people have to die fighting for freedom

i definitely see the connection with the last of us and palestine/Israel but i would say it does humanise the seraphites lev and a her sister prime example also the themes of ultra militarism are pretty clear in portrayals of manny and isaac atleast in the games doubled for isaac in the tv
