Nate is misunderstood for being honest and an overall good person , but the atmosphere of the game series makes it out to be that way since it's an adventure game with no dark themes.The way people look at Joel is totally different from how they see Nate just because of this point.Uncharted sets a light tone with very light themes because it's supposed to be fun.Nate and Joel are no different and I resonate to Joel more tbh because killing off people just because you're a treasure hunter is insane.Also his comedic side makes his crimes more lighter than it supposed to be.
