I have built a B 16 for around 2500. Just depends on where you find the stuff and how bad people need money you can get parts pretty cheap.

We built one within the $5k range, b18c with carbon synchros. It took 11 months to find all the parts. Just gotta have patience. But it can be done. HunterTuned had us running superb!!

b series are old you can put less then 10k in to a k series and make 800whp
