I got referred to off base women’s care of Alaska I tried for months every medication to help me ovulate nothing worked I had zero follicles or I had some that were too small I gave up hope & I told my doctor I was going to take a couple months break from all the medication well a month later me and my husband decided to do the carnivore diet & I swear to you my period was absolutely normal I actually ovulated on my own & I’m also now 19 weeks pregnant with my baby boy! When I tell you I think that carnivore diet helped my pcos I swear by it!!!

fellow mil spouse and pcos girly, I did the same thing this cycle, took more letrozole at a higher dosage, and got 3 mature follicles! I have high Amh which I think contributes a lot to me responding to letrozole how I do. Good luck to you 🩷

I’m so lost. I got diagnosed with PCOS two weeks ago. My GYN said I could take Metformin or Letrozole. I didn’t really want to start with medications and wanted to try maybe insitol or something more natural, she never gave me at other options🤷🏼♀️…. She never scheduled a follow up with me for my lab work and all of it came back normal… then sent the script in for Letrozole. I don’t even have a follow up to see if I ovulate with the meds. I’m so lost and overwhelmed.

My doctor put me on Merformin & birth control for 3 months to bring my hormones back to a “normal” level. I was upset they even considering putting me on BC because I wanted to get pregnant. 1st cycle after that I am pregnant.
