I convinced myself at 3am that my son was a dwarf and I woke him up, found a measuring tape, googled height percentiles, realised he was bang on the 50th percentile and he’s just small because he’s a BABY.

I spent approximately 1,000 on new mattresses because I was convinced the mattress was uncomfy and that’s why he wasn’t sleeping longer than an hour at a time… at 5 weeks old😅

When my husband came home without my vanilla coffee I was so upset I said “That is the only good thing in my life” I was pretty upset. Vanilla coffee was holding me together with a 2 year old and a newborn.

I bought a life jacket and floating device for my car 🚗 in case the car ever fell of a bridge and I needed to escape with my baby….. we don’t ever pass bridges with water…….. and I didn’t get one for my husband, lol 🤣

My twins were in the Nicu and they had sepsis and it was Cov*d times. I felt so overwhelmed & out of my own body, that I did full glam makeup & my fake eyelashes just to give me a sense of normalcy. Boy, the doctors were a bit confused but sick Preemies also sleep a lot and the days were so long, isolating and terrifying.

I was worried about having a baby and carpet so when my husband went out of town I ripped out all the carpet and refloored my house with willpower and YouTube. I had a c section a week b4 and did all in 6 days.

Baby was in the NICU for 8 wks, and I felt like pumping was one thing I could do for her and I hated the spectra, soooooo I got the fancy ameda hospital grade pump that was like $500. Still use it every day and love it. But…maybe it wasn’t as *essential* as I thought.
