Theres been also some recent findings of bra-like garments from middle ages. Its not 100% clear it was a bra and not dress that got cut or sth, but its got sth alike cups. Its pretty interesting

I do reenactment, so made a lengberg bra. Side laced on both sides, tailored cut out cups, made of linen. Very comfortable

Im glad I don't have to wear a bra because the only synthetic material i wear is on my shoes or elastic makes me feel alot better about the sustainability of my outfits
