(1)prim, thank you for this message. I hope you see this. My mother has always been very controlling&manipulative. She had a ROUGH childhood and life in general. Just always and constantly suffering and seeking counseling, therapy, medication etc etc. On the second to last time I saw her we were in her house and she was telling me to stop reading the Bible so much. To stop praying so much. To stop worshiping so much. To ask God to take away my dreams. She said so many years serving God and he could never heal her from depression. She told me if I continue to seek God the way I do I might become schizophrenic. She told me to write hate letters to my father and another person I’ve had trouble with and then do a ritual with said letters. I was shocked to say the least. Especially since she had been begging me and my husband the past 10 or so years to get back to God. She also told me she had a dream my husband and I were going to die. I contradicted her on some things but for the most part I was just left speechless. I left her home and cried so so much. It hurt as if I were experiencing her death. I secretly recorded some of our conversation and showed it to my pastor. He was beyond concerned, prayed over me and some anointing oil that he gave me and asked me to please stay away from her. Weeks later, at a service the pastor said he wanted to do a prayer session. I went and knelt at the altar. I fully surrendered to God and asked him to please help me because I was tired of feeling how I felt. I hear a sister praying out loud for another sister, interceding for her and I thought to my self how I longed to have a mother that would pray that way for me. The sister that was praying out loud immediately came over to me and laid her hands on me. She began praying in tongues. I started coughing so hard. The she began to speak out loud and said something among the lines of “every curse spoken over her from the very mouth of her mother must come up and out…..” and I began throwing up like crazy. She kept praying and just saying things about my mother and I kept throwing up. At one point she mentioned something about a pact my mother made with blood too. By the end of it

What are your thoughts on changing your name because it’s the name of the alter that has been used to make covenants that are affecting your present life. I mean changing on birth certificate

Some translations say it was Asa’s mother (NKJV, KJV, NLT, AMP) and others say it was Asa’s grandmother (NLT,..). So we will go with King Asa removed his mother from her position.
