Like generally how do you think we got from having no electricity, no TV, no phones etc. we teach them everything we have learned, and new methods, and better methods of learning from what we got from our parents…. just like their future kids will be smarter than they are at that age…

I think it’s bc we have resources now that our parents didn’t have then. My mom didn’t create fun enrichment activities like I did. Even if it’s just an iPad or phone, so much is educational and they are watching and learning. Also with sm, so many of us are trying to better our emotional intelligence for our kids. That’s huge. Our kids feel safe. I was just trying to survive as a kid and I’m sure many can relate.

my grandson was reading words at 12 months... and was reading FULLY by age 2! I mean, I read early, my kids read early.... BUT NOT AGE TWO! You're right... kids just built different now!

My 20 month old can count to 50 unassisted and to 100 with very little assistance 😭. She was counting from 1-10 at 12 months. They definitely a different breed.
