If they keep the pick why draft harper. You currently have castle, fox and Vassell as guards. He is a great number 2 pick but how would u fit him in that line up, especially when u look at the size of elite teams in the NBA.

I honestly don’t understand why every mock draft has us taking Harper. We don’t have a need for a guard. But I agree, if we’re taking Harper then it’s probably for a trade partner for someone that needs a guard.

There’s a lot of stuff they can do. Obviously giannis. I personally like a kd trade, which means u keep ur entire core of wemby fox vassell castle and now Harper, and add KD to it

the Spurs don't pride leverage the most. the Spurs don't make flashy trades or free agents signs. they pride themselves in finding the best possible player and character.

Its a bit luck and a bit of knowledge. They been stocking draft picks since Leonard left. Now they've been strategically cashing them in the past few years. They are showing us how "The Process" is done right, The way they showed us how pure basketball was played in the 2014 playoffs. Continue to watch because they still have a ton of picks to play with in the coming years.
