ak Sam 🌑 :
Hi, I’m reaching out to share a serious issue I’ve experienced as an Airbnb host — and I truly hope you can help me or bring more visibility to this situation.
I recently hosted a guest at my property through Airbnb, and what I found after their stay was shocking and deeply upsetting. The apartment was left in horrible conditions, with clear signs of drug preparation and consumption. There were strange residues on surfaces, strong chemical odors, and items commonly associated with drug use scattered across the space.
It wasn’t just a mess — it felt dangerous. I had to pay for professional cleaning, including chemical disinfection, due to health and legal concerns. My TV was also damaged, and there were other property losses as well.
I filed a formal claim through Airbnb — Case ID: CLSF-04511792 — and submitted all necessary documentation (photos, receipts, official letters). I’ve followed up through their resolution center, email, and even contacted @AirbnbHelp on Twitter/X.
Despite the seriousness of the situation, and how much this has affected me emotionally and financially, I’m still waiting for a proper resolution. I’ve received only vague replies and no confirmation of reimbursement or accountability. It’s been days of silence, and I’m honestly starting to feel abandoned by the platform I trusted.
I’m just asking to be treated fairly and to receive the support that Airbnb promises to its hosts. If there's any way you can help me get this message seen or passed along to someone who can make a difference, I would be incredibly grateful.
Thank you so much for reading this.
