@amandaippolito5: Genetics are tricky and coming to terms with how my body processes things is a challenge in & of itself. #postpartum #agin #bodyneutrality
The first was "diet controlled" and I about died having a 10 lbs baby 5 weeks early. The second we went straight to insulin and he ended up getting stuck and had a bpi. I've been pre-pre-diabetic/pre-diabetic on and off since the first.

The best thing my OB told me was complications in pregnancy is a window to your future.i had preeclampsia and hypertension. Now im religious about walking and keeping my blood pressure healthy to avoid medicine for as long as I can.

I had it 4 times insulin dependent every time. Also have PCOS so basically guaranteed to have T2D at some point. It’s so much better to work on it now when you technically don’t need to than to wait!!

I had GD with 2/3 of my pregnancies, the last one I was insulin dependent(twin pregnancy). The twins are 6, and I was dx with T2 diabetes last year. It’s been reeeeaaalll fun. 😬

No kids so no GD here, but I was diagnosed as prediabetic a few weeks ago so I feel you! Here for support if you want/need it. 👌❤️
