It hurts me cuz they destroyed almost everything Verso loved in his little piece of art, even if it was the consequence of a family fight. Nevrons, the whole Lumiere created by Aline, none of these are His Creatures. This canvas is no longer his own creation and it makes me so sad 😭

I know how it feels to want an escape when in grief and depression… it was a tough choice but I ultimately agreed with Verso wanting Maelle to be live in reality. I guess it depends on which peace you resonate with the most.

the main line through this entire game was cm"tomorrow comes" and "for those who come after." one end allows tomorrow to come, the other puts everyone into a death spiral. the canvas is ending, either now or in 70 years when Maelle dies. the ending is the future you choose, pain now for healing and moving forward, or to stay stuck running from reality. Gustave as he was, would be ashamed of the choice maelle made.
