As a PTSD survivor, thank you for being so open and honest about it, especially as men, it’s so important for men to be able to open up & show vulnerability & it not be seen as ‘weak’. I was diagnosed in 2021 after being in an abusive relationship & childhood trauma & serious abandonment issues. I’m going through EMDR therapy at the moment but have been talking to my psychologist every week for 2yrs now. I’m not going to sit here & say I’m ’cured’ but I’ve come a long way. I always tried to keep that fake smile on my face but it never lasted long. Talking to someone is always the best therapy. Anyone struggling, I promise there are better days ahead & that’s coming from someone who was first sectioned as a teen after my first ‘attempt’ & then repeatedly over the years to now as a 40yr old single mum to 3 beautiful girls who I can’t imagine not being around for. 💔❤️🩹❤️

I never believed in PTSD and thought it was for the weak. 2 years after a serious crash that nearly killed me. It hit me out of the blue out of nowhere. I belive now..

1980,I was on leave 😂,i layed down on the floor,mum behind me, gave me a kick up the backside 😂😂😂 Asked are they delivering a parcel, I said yes mum, hand holding 😂😂My mum was dying of Breast cancer , she was a Sergeant in the Catering Corps.
