I have an ongoing theory that Lumine isn't even Aether's twin and she was created as an illusionary trap wanting to mislead Aether to a certain planet they've explored perhaps many times again, leading to Venti remembering Aether but Aether doesn't remember him.

I've always had a theory that the sibling is still in the cube from the start of the game and that the one in teyvat is like an illusion of sorts to trick the traveller or something 😭

My theory is that when they saw the unknown god Lumine was sent to teyvat after defeat ( abyss twin) And Aether had to wait 500years to awake. That's why she was in Irminsul and he wasnt. Maybe IT was a plan or something
