I’m sorry, but no. If you want to play a game on DAY ONE, sure. Otherwise, if you wait, gaming is extremely cheap. The used market still exists and online sales happen all the time.

Calling Gamepass a scam is SO out of touch. Most games that I've tried on gamepass I play for less than 3 hours and decide it's not for me. I used to pay full price to learn that same lesson and not be able to get a refund.

You say "own it" but you still dont. You license the rights to play it for as long as they allow. The game can still be lost forever out your library one day unless theyre old physical games.
