fun fact the alien is programmed to have 2 AIs, one of them always knows where you are the other takes hints from the first AI and searches near where you are at eventually if you stay on 1 spot for too long then it will find you

Did you know there 2 AI at work here? One is the director AI that always know where you are and the 2nd is the alien doesnt. The director is always feeding clue to the alien on where you are and tries to make it cinematic by allowing you move and redirecting the alien to let you breath. The alien does learn from the values tho and if you hide too much at the same type of hiding place, it will look there more often.

You’ve probably already heard about the two ai things so Ima spare you the lecture basically the reason he ran back to where you were was because it hears your mic so not only does it have the ais it hears your mic which is the reason that it ran back and got him

What I notice is that I initially played it on easy and then I replayed on its normal level and the difference is do not crouch walk in the line of sight of the alien on normal even if ur it’s way cause on easy u could get out the way but he will cook ur ahh on normal
