Hello Airbnb, I’m reaching out here because despite many attempts, your customer service has not provided a fair or helpful solution. My reservation for a 2-week stay in Montreal starting June 29 was cancelled a few days ago, on the grounds that the host was fraudulent. While I understand the importance of platform security, it should not be the guest who pays the price when something like this happens—especially when we trusted your platform to book our trip. Since the cancellation, prices have skyrocketed, and it is now impossible to find an equivalent accommodation at the same rate. I was only offered a small compensation for the “inconvenience,” without any real consideration of the financial and logistical impact. And yet, your own policies state that in the case of a host cancellation, Airbnb must offer a full refund and assist in finding a similar place. That clearly has not happened here. I am now asking to be contacted by someone competent who can handle this situation seriously and fairly. #AirbnbFail #AirbnbExperience #AirbnbFrance #AirbnbScam #AngryCustomer #AirbnbHelp
