These comments are so sad. Jenna Ortega represents his own demons and battles. His inner thoughts.. his manager represents the part of him that should just keep going and keep singing. The whole point of Jenna Ortega tying him up so that he can face his emotions, kill the old part of him “The Weeknd” so he can become Abel. That’s literally all this movie is about. It was well-made.

Lee is the masculine side of him, his past selfish and toxic self who keeps pushing him to be the same but in the end he overcomes it all and figures out what he rlly wants by burning down his old persona ‘The Weeknd’ (the room in the movie)
