Before, he's confused and can't differentiate between reality and illusion, but still brave the world. But now, as he's disillusioned, the distinction between reality and illusion has faded. He stopped fighting reality and his past concerns no longer matter. "Whatever stirred the heart drifts away with the wind" the last duality line. At first, whatever moved his heart; be it longing, dreams or ambition; he chased after it. But now, that 'whatever' has gone with the wind.
