Jady Pipes170 :
If Protestant worship brought you to Christ, then glory be to Christ, not to the worship style, not to the denomination, and not to the structure that housed it. Christ is merciful and present everywhere, and He meets us in our brokenness, often in spite of flawed practice, not because of it.
Finding Christ in a place does not automatically validate everything practiced there. It speaks to His goodness, not ours. The question isn’t whether Christ uses imperfection (He clearly does), but whether we, now awakened to His truth, will seek to worship in spirit and in truth, rightly and fully.
Good intentions don’t equal obedient worship. Consider Uzzah in 2 Samuel 6. When the Ark of the Covenant began to tip, he reached out to steady it, an instinct that seems good and reverent. But God struck him down. Why? Because God had already given clear instruction about how the Ark was to be handled. Uzzah’s sincerity didn’t override God’s command. In worship, reverence must be rooted in obedience, not just good feelings or heartfelt music.
