they were given a literal translation when they asked what it was and weren't told it was a brand name. it's an honest misunderstanding, that should have just been a silly culture clash.

honestly I probably would have thought the same thing. when you see all the unique drinks asian countries have, cream water isn't that insane, add in language barrier and it makes sense
