Big difference between making a racial joke and making a racist joke. Same for making a sexual joke vs a sexist joke. These jokes come from different places and some don’t understand that.

Anthony Jeselnik gets away with atrocious jokes about different groups because he is brilliant and hilarious. The same could be said about Carlin, Hicks and all the other giants who get passes when they do racial, sexist or other controversial jokes. It's clear to any reasonable person when something is funny because it's funny and not because it's rooted in hatred. Jeselnik nailed it on this one.

Yeah, like when Seinfeld whined about cancel culture while Larry David was still thriving. Glad Seinfeld retracted it though. I think some people use bad comedy to validate their bigotry. Good comedy can be about anything
