The acting was good. I don’t know what’s up with the hate on this movie. And what makes it better is the fact this is how we would act/react in real life, his acting is realistic.😭

Pretty much the whole movie is inside Abel’s head, and him battling with his anxiety. Barry is the egotistical side of The Weeknd, pretty much everything The Weeknd is. That’s why he’s so arrogant, doing drugs etc. Jenna is there to help him realize his wrongdoing. But Abel can’t see it until Barry dies. Which in that point he’s able to finally finish his song which he was struggling to do throughout the entire movie. Once he finishes his self reflection he’s able to break out of that mental state and gets back to being able to do his concert.
