He had the right to do a Lien . I process Liens for non payment of concrete delivered and unpaid balances on accounts. He should have been paid in the 1st place!

If you agree on a price and you don’t pay it in full you need to sort yourself out. He’s running a business not a charity which puts food on his table and pays for his mortgage. The fact he put a lein on the guys house is good because he got the point across its extremely unlikely he gonna get that persons business again but if you were in his shoes would you want to go back and work on that customers house?

you can’t do this UNLESS your agreement specifies a lien can be registered to secure payment…. Can’t just go around lodging liens over ppl’s houses cuz they didn’t pay you.
