I think the Bible is a amazing guide, but having a moral compass is just in you, either you have a good one or you don’t. Life teaches you a lot. Religion can definitely enhance it, but it’s not the only thing that shapes it.

not at all. I think religion does play a part in people’s morals but I do feel there are plenty of religious people with a poor moral compass and vice versa. But at the end of the day, religion or not people form their on morals and beliefs based on experience.

Absolutely. Religion does not necessarily teach us to be better people. It just teaches A WAY that you can live. Many atheists live similarly, just lack faith.

I’ve had a moral compass without the Bible since I was young, it depends on the factor of life. Some ppl are raised Christian and was traumatized by the religion others weren’t it really depends.
