If ur calling this scene demonic, for the reason of being Christian, just know that if ur black or even from Africa, ur parents and grandparents and so on were indoctrinated to a religion only tweaked to benefit the Caucasian enslavers. And made our cultural practices out to be demonic. Further submission and shame always brings easier control

I see some ppl confused so I’ll explain…music from specific ppl tears the veil of time, making time linear as past, present and future coexist. The longer the music is played, ancestors are connected with the decendents but also opens a doorway for evil spirits. The barn burning but the ppl still dancing in open symbolizing the access the evil spirits now have to them

This was the scariest scene ever the narrator speaks about how the music and interpretation is the source of all evil, every music invites the devil no matter what culture it is, watching this in theatres as a African we understood. In the movie his father warned him, his music invites the devil!

it's not just about the different cultures it's also about how there is a veil between our realities and that other spirits literally be right in our faces and around us and we can't physically see them and music is a conjure tool

What the living has to do with the dead Jesus said. Once you died you shouldn’t be coming back. This is deception & witchcraft. There’s a reason it’s called sinners, no sinner can enter heaven ,sinners is in ungodly lifestyle which leads to hell. Don’t be deceived in Jesus name.
