The only part about switching is the lack of roaming. meaning coverage could be lost when leaving a city.

Many MVNO’s do not have the same call quality. I’ve tested several including using various model phone’s Field Test Mode and Diagnostics Mode. In many instances, the codec quality is lowered on several MVNOs. So if call quality matters, beware.

Had one of those companies and found it very frustrating when I couldn’t make a call or access the internet at a concert or event.

I just switched from Verizon prepaid to US Mobile and it's seems to be just as good

Yes, Consumer Cellular for at least 10 years. Gotta buy your phones, but the monthly fee is superb

Just switched to Visible by Verizon! Love it! 45 a month for both my phone and my watch! Unlimited data. I do not live on a large city and have great coverage. Same as my coverage with Verizon!

I learned Cricket uses the same towers as AT&T but way cheaper bc it’s not name brand.
