I don't believe that you could see that light 1 km away in dense fog. Have you been in Lund Sweden. You don't even see headlights 50 meters away when fog pull in out side of Lund.

I don't believe I would see it for 1km in fog. In fact I didn't even see it in light rain until I was few meters away. Also who will pay for it and for SIM cards. I don't believe it will be as cheap as classic triangle.
