@coryoncarsofficial: A really common HVAC fan circuit issue: When this customer made an appointment for his Impreza, he said the A/C wasn’t working. I found out, he was actually talking about the blower motor, which was working on high speed only. #CarTok #CarTips #TikTokAutoCampaign #Subaru #Impreza #Automotive #Diagnostics
Yo I need some more electrical diag from you. You explain it so we’ll 😂

Hey so I'm having the opposite problem in my 2015 suabru. Fan speed works on settings 1-3, but completely cuts off when on 4. Any idea why? I took it to the shop and they couldn't figure it out.

Very good explanation of how resistors work in a blower circuit. Glad it wasn't that hard to replace👍

You were talking about GM cars can blow the connector pin and resistor and said that the blower motor is creating a high resistance. How do you fix that? Do you replace the blower motor?? I just replaced the resistor on a family friends car on a 2018 Chevy trax and next day the resistor and connected was melted. Replaced both and within thirty seconds it melted again. If you have any help I’d really appreciate it because my understanding is I need to replace them again along with a new blower motor

This is very common on these Subarus. Most of the ones I’ve repaired are from a melted connector for the fan speed due to high resistance! Great diag!
