I think a lot of people have a misconception that being attracted to and sexualizing is the same. to me personally it's not a problem to like trans people as long as you don't objective them or reduce trans ppl to only what you like:)) -trans girl

i think its going to really boil down to how you treat people even on an unconscious level. how do you treat their transness? is it just a part of them? or is it a point of fascination for you? do u seek trans ppl out BC theyre trans, or do u just find u can "click" w trans ppl in a way u dont so often with cis ppl? i wouldnt advertise "seeking trans partners!" bc it reads as chasey, imo. but like just stating ur open to relationships w trans ppl. make the door clearly open. dont go out chasing just to fulfill a personal desire. all just imo, i cant speak for all trans ppl, ofc.

Im a cis queer woman and my partner is a trans woman and granted I’m attracted to everyone, it doesn’t matter if they are cis or trans, but I often find myself attracted to trans people cuz my main friend group and everyone I know from them are all trans people so they are just what I’m always around. And they are pretty! But I also just love like queer people in general. Does that make sense? I don’t have like a preference it’s kinda just circumstance lmao

I feel that way too, but I think it really is connected to my own fluidity/ lack of connection to gender constructs as a whole, which just makes it much more comfortable to be around other people who understand what I am even if I’m not labeled as anything

for me its that i feel more comfortable with people LIKE ME "i have a preference for people who arnt afraid to express themself agenced norms/gender norms like me and live with open minded values" especially sense im under the same trans umbrella and it makes me feel more free from gender roles in a relationship with ppl who disregard it completely
