I’m an IT professional. I’ve had oh 💩 moments in my career where I’m choking down panic bc a critical system is offline and I’m desperately trying to get it up. The stress is real. Now you take these ATCs who as he says are responsible for SOOOO many lives. Are one of the primary reasons flying is safer than driving. Being BLIND. I would have a heart attack and be praying to every thing for those 90 seconds. And absolutely it’s mental trauma they went through. The sheer amount of cortisol they must have had in their bodies and would need to detox from… Do not blame the ATCs.
