this is exactly what my lab/golden retriever did when she went blind 🥺 she memorized the house AND could walk against the fence in the back and literally COUNTED the steps it took from the farthest in the yard, all the way to the top of the steps 🥺 I miss my baby so much, she was literally the sweetest angel I could have ever asked for (I'm gonna see if I can pop a photo of her in the replies in a bit ❤️)

Labs are true life partners❤️I will always remember Hailey my black lab. My dad found her in a dumpster and we had her ever since. She’s taught me how to walk by letting me hold into her. She let me nap and wouldn’t move unless I did. That is pure and true love. I miss her everyday❤️

my dog laid in the same spot for 11 years. he was a very dark golden retriever and it left a mark the size of him on the wall. we painted my house and i didn’t know what day they were coming until i walked inside and the spot was painted over and gone. that was the last thing left of him in my house that made me feel like he would forever be with us after he passed. i wish i could’ve seen it one more time.

We buried our dog three weeks ago but we put her up by the front driveway in a pretty shaded area so we can always say hi to her and tell her bye when we leave. We just planted a tree up there by her with heart shaped leaves to match the little heart on her forehead
