heating it in plastic will make it full of 'forever plastics'. Your skin is your biggest organ and rubbing plastics into it is dangerous. Heating food in plastic is just as dangerous.

This is a good at home body butter (not cosmetic grade) but please use the double boiler method to melt butters.
