I think the thing about Shuro that is a giant red flag is how he treats Falin vs Laios. They have the exact same autism but because Falins a girl (and the object of his affections) he puts her on a pedestal vs HATING laios for the same behaviour

Shuuro freaked out because he idealized falin in a “pure being” way, (untouched body/soul). She being resurrected with black magic probably ruined that fantasy for him lol

welll first of all his name is toshiro , shuro is the name laios and the rest of his party calls him because they're unfamiliar with eastern culture — it's a mispronounced name LOL ...... his culture should definitely be factored in as in the east it's clear they clearly value men like toshiro because toshiro is implied to be born into a higher class family (nobility) and his ego would Certainly be exacerbated .... this does NOT mean that he doesn't have any flaws ! his culture isn't an excuse though it certainly explains why he's so indirect and out of touch ? he's still very impulsive and hypocritical

Sorry but you’re wrong. Shiro was not only mentally exhausted because of the loss of Falin but also understood the what black magic did to the people affected. Itzumi wasn’t created for Shiro, they found her.

I don't understand how Shuro was gonna resurrect Falin in the first place? Black magic was the only way at the point Falin's body was at. He didn't bring any animals to exchange as Falin's new body either

You know that Izutsumi was exposed to black magic before the Shuro family bought her? And his father was the one who bought her as a gift to Maisuru. Shuro doesn't even choose who to take on the team, Maisuru does it

i agree with your argument but u did miss a major aspect of izutisume she wasent transfomed into that by shuros family she was turned into that by a random dude who sold her to be a freak show atraction but shuros dad bought her as a gift to his lover and then kibty was raised in shuros home as one of his slaves

technically izutsumi was already fused when shuro’s dad bought her for him but it’s described as “getting him a cat” so the point still stands that he’s fine w it as long as her abilities are useful

THAT'S WRONG!!! It's both stated in the manga and if I'm not wrong, in the adventurer's guide that Izutsumi was part of a freak show (meaning that she was already transformed before found) traveling the world and was later bought by Toshiro's father as a gift to Maizuru, to not only give her a home but a job. Whoever did this to Izutsumi isn't associated with Toshiro's family but by a random dark magic user. You may be mistaking the curse with Izutsumi's OTHER curse which was put by Maizuru, it causes her to NEED Maizuru to touch the curse to reset the timer so she won't be killed by an oni (or old hag as called), likely so she wouldn't escape, since it's stated that she tried to do so and doesn't have a good relationship with anyone in Toshiro's family or other workers (stated in the adventurer's guide and wiki). Being okay with a half-beast existing ≠ Using dark magic to transform them. (You can be okay with something but not with the methods!)
