The pyramids were built by labourers, not slaves. We just assumed Hebrews built them. But they didn't. Basically regular peasants volunteered for a few months a year and they were given bread and beer. It was a form of taxation, instead of giving a portion of crops. Work when your crops are still growing and you get beer and bread

Two other reasons: 1) the systems left by slavery still exist the US, the dynasties that had slaves building the pyramids have long since collapsed. 2) you are essentially comparing farm fields to giant tombs, which do you think would make for a better tourist attraction?

A lot of people commenting that NO slaves were used in the construction of the Pyramids is an overcorrection. While yes its true that Ancient Egypt used citizens and skilled labourers to build the Pyramids, Ancient Egypt still had slaves at the time and they surely were still used.
