On start up it pollutes far more then letting it run. Start up is hardest on vehicle and environment.

Thats good news. Ive always hated that “feature”. I have heard rumors that GM may eliminate AFM/DOD in future 5.3s. Have you heard anything about that?

When I buy a car I check the radio then the air conditioner then I say I’ll take it, Honestly it’s worked pretty good so far.

As a 30 year tech, we always told folks back in the day to not turn off your vehicle while waiting for emissions test, the cat will cool off and trap hydrocarbons, how can start/stop possibly do anything to help emissions

Rich can you give me any suggestions on an older (2014) Chevy 5.3 truck engine with oil consumption issues. Dealer says this is “normal”. Currently running the recommended 0-20. Thanks 👍
