This literally makes no sense, I can see what you were trying to do. But it's just a dumb way of looking at it, Justin Bieber gets that recognition because he's a celebrity, and there's an insane amount of evidence to support he was a victim. You're trying to compare that to people with a fraction of a fame and little evidence. Of course people are going to believe them less. And the way you phrased it was almost like it was about gender. When in a man's case, when he is a victim of sexual assault. In the very rare cases they feel comfortable enough to speak up, they're either treated the same as female victims. Not believed. Or if they do believe them, they outright dismiss it and invalidate the person's trauma.
